Navigating to the Assurance Review

After logging into their peer reviewer role in Canopy, team members can navigate to the Assurance Reviews section from the peer review dashboard and the main menu.

• On the dashboard, click “Assurance Reviews” in the Quick Links box.
• In the main menu, click “Peer Review” and then select “Assurance Reviews.”

Assurance Reviews Landing Page

After an institution’s lock date, HLC gives the peer review team access to the Assurance Review in Canopy. At that point, the review will be displayed on the Assurance Reviews landing page. (The review will not be listed before HLC releases it to the team.)

The landing page will display the following details for the Assurance Review:

• Filing status
• Institution name and HLC ID number
• The institution’s HLC pathway
• The names and links to email the Primary Filing Coordinator, team chair and HLC staff liaison
• Lock date

Click the “Review” link to the right of the lock date to open the Assurance Review.

Navigating Within the Assurance Review

When you open an Assurance Review, you will be taken to the Review section. Navigate to other sections of the review, including the Review Context or Evidence File sections, using the left side menu.
