Updates to the Mark of Accreditation Status
HLC member institutions display the Mark of Accreditation Status on their websites as part of HLC’s Obligations of Membership.
HLC has updated the Mark to improve its accessibility and ensure it works with screen readers. To implement these changes, institutions need to replace the HTML code that displays the Mark on their websites with new code from HLC by June 15, 2026.
Accreditation Liaison Officers, CEOs and Data Update Coordinators can access the updated HTML code and instructions for displaying the Mark on the institutional dashboard in Canopy.
