It’s time to register for Higher Learning 2025, HLC’s Annual Conference, and we have the resources and information you need to choose your registration options and start planning your conference experience. Explore what’s new in 2025, learn about the keynote speakers, book your hotel, and more! 

Registration Open  

Registration for the General Program and all pre-conference programs is now open

Registering a group? Have everyone fill out a Registration Worksheet to help you complete multiple registrations online. 

New in 2025:  

  • The Strategies for Experienced ALOs Pre-Conference Workshop is for Accreditation Liaison Officers who have been in the role two or more years to enhance their skills and advance their practice. 
  • General Program registration includes admission to the welcome reception Saturday, April 5. 
  • Sunday luncheons provide an opportunity for you to connect with other attendees over relevant higher ed topics. 
  • First time attending an HLC Annual Conference? Check out our FAQs for new attendees and stay tuned for additional new resources to help you navigate the conference. 

Interested in attending the Strategies for Experienced ALOs or Centering Learning Workshops? Be sure to register as soon as possible; these pre-conference programs have a limited capacity.   

Don’t wait! Early bird registration ends after January 31, 2025.  

Keynote Speakers  

We’re excited to announce the keynote presentations for the Higher Learning 2025 General Program: 

  • David Allison, a human values expert, CEO of a global research firm, two-time bestselling author, and founder of the Valuegraphics Project, will present on a balanced, data-informed approach to fostering understanding and uniting campus communities to kick off the conference on Saturday, April 5 at 5 p.m. 
  • Representing the interests and insights of Student and Academic Affairs professionals, Amelia Parnell, President and CEO of NASPA—Student Affairs Administrators in Higher Education along with Charles L. Welch, President and CEO of American Association of State Colleges and Universities, will take part in a fireside chat to discuss strategies to improve teaching, learning, and student success Monday, April 7 at 9 a.m. 

Following David Allison’s presentation Saturday evening, HLC President Barbara Gellman-Danley will provide her Welcome Address on Sunday, April 6 at 9 a.m.   

Make Plans Today  

Hotel booking is now available! Higher Learning 2025 will take place at the Hyatt Regency, Swissôtel and Radisson Blu Aqua Hotel Chicago. We offer discounted room blocks at the conference hotels and at multiple hotels nearby.
