Conference Highlights
Criteria Listening Sessions
Last week, HLC announced that the Board of Trustees preliminarily approved proposed changes to the Criteria. We always welcome comments on proposed policies before second reading by the Board, and we want to hear from you! During the conference, there are multiple listening sessions where you can provide feedback in person:
C-99: Listening Session: Criteria Revision
Monday, April 15 | 1:30–2:15 p.m. | Regency C
C-138: Listening Session: Criteria Revision
Tuesday, April 16 | 9:00–9:45 a.m. | Regency C
There are also two listening sessions scheduled during the Peer Reviewer Updates and Training pre-conference program.
First Time Attendee?
If you’re attending the conference for the first time, or if you’re new to accreditation, be sure to register for and attend the Orientation for First Time Conference Attendees at 4 p.m. Saturday. Sessions that might be beneficial for you are also marked in the website, mobile app and Program Book.
New! Learn and Earn
Use the conference mobile app to “Learn and Earn” throughout your conference experience for a chance to win prizes! Scan QR codes found in areas such as the Grand Hall and Expo, Academy Poster Fair, Accreditation Share Fair, at select social functions and more to answer questions and earn points. One correct answer = one point, and 10 points enters you in a drawing to win items including gift cards, books from our Keynote speakers, or a complimentary registration for the 2025 HLC Annual Conference. Winners will be contacted individually after the conference. More details will be available in the mobile app soon.
Pre-Conference Programs
Our pre-conference programs are quickly filling up, but there is still space available for the Peer Reviewer Training and Updates, Conversations with Presidents and Trustees, and the Centering Learning Workshop taking place on Saturday, April 13. Register Today!
We’re looking forward to seeing you at the conference! Questions? Contact [email protected].
