Decision-Making Bodies

The Board of Trustees and the Institutional Actions Council lead our work in serving institutions, deals with policy matters related to accreditation, and votes on institutional actions.

Peer Corps

Accreditation is built on peer review, and HLC relies on expert volunteers who play an essential role in assuring the quality of HLC’s member institutions by conducting accreditation reviews. 

Academy Mentors

Academy Mentors offer guidance, advice and feedback to institutions in the Assessment and Student Success Academy. Mentors work with one or more institutions throughout the multi-year Academy experience to assist teams in developing and implementing their projects.
