Institutional Actions Council

The Institutional Actions Council (IAC) evaluates and takes action on accreditation recommendations from HLC staff and peer reviewers who review institutions for their compliance with HLC requirements. The IAC is composed of approximately 125 members representing HLC member institutions and the public. IAC members are appointed by HLC’s Board of Trustees.
