  • HLC Joins ACE Regarding Reconciliation Bill Concerns

    HLC joined the American Council on Education and other higher education associations, in writing to members of Congress to express concerns regarding provisions contained in the Senate reconciliation titles proposed by the Committee on Health, Education, Labor and Pensions (HELP) and Committee on Finance.

  • Feedback to the House on Accreditation Choice and Innovation Act

    The Council of Regional Accrediting Commissions (C-RAC), of which HLC is a member,  released a letter to the U.S. House of Representatives Committee on Education and Workforce in response to the Accreditation Choice and Innovation Act.

  • New Members Elected to HLC’s Board of Trustees

    HLC will welcome five newly elected trustees to the HLC Board on September 1. Three university presidents, a college dean and a financial recruitment leader are slated to become the board’s newest members, replacing five current trustees who are being recognized for their service.
