The HLC Annual Conference is just a few months away! We’re excited to see you in Chicago April 13–16, 2024. Now is the time to register and receive Early Bird rates, book your hotel accommodations, and take a look at the sessions you might be interested in attending.

The full schedule is available now! View sessions slated for the conference by date, presentation type or track, or use the universal search feature to find specific topics of interest. Please note: the schedule is subject to change. 

If you’re registered for the conference, you will receive login information in the next few months to start building your schedule on the conference website and mobile app. Login information will be sent to the email address used to register for the conference. 

Featured Speakers and Workshops 

In case you missed it, we announced the featured speakers and workshops taking place during the General Program, including presentations on student success and support, academic freedom, artificial intelligence, and more.   

Make the most of your #HLC2024 experience with an engaging professional development opportunity. This year, the General Program begins with Keynote Speaker Eric Liu on Saturday, April 13, so make the most of the day by registering for a pre-conference workshop.

New! Centering Learning Workshop 

This workshop focuses on concepts for improving student learning and ensuring quality educational offerings. Explore connections between assessment of student learning, student success outcomes, and practice of regular program review through presentations, small group activities, and networking. 

Open to: Administrators, faculty and staff members, or representatives of independent organizations responsible for the continuous improvement of student learning and student success. 

Effective Administrators Workshop 

Improve administrator skills for institutional effectiveness, planning, and resource management with a blend of presentation, application and small group activities. 

Open to: New or rising administrators, faculty and staff members, or representatives of independent organizations. 

Additional Saturday pre-conference programs taking place are Conversations with Presidents and Trustees, Peer Reviewer Updates and Training Program, and the Seeking Accreditation Workshop.
