Spring and Summer Workshops for Institutions: Everything to Expect
As winter finally fades, HLC is looking forward to spring and summer months filled with virtual training and educational resources for institutions.
In May, HLC’s Program Assessment Virtual Seminar Series will be offered for those looking to further their understanding of practical and meaningful assessment of student learning in academic programs. Registration is now open and is expected to fill quickly.
For institutions preparing to build a new strategic plan, HLC will again offer the Advancing Strategy Online Seminar. Held in two modules, June 7 and 8, this seminar offers tools and strategies to facilitate effective design of strategic planning efforts. Registration for this is scheduled to open in March and slots are expected to fill quickly.
Also returning is the Effective Administrators Online Seminar, in which attendees hone skills that mid-level administrators can apply to cultivate not only a collaborative, solutions-oriented culture at their institutions, but a support network of colleagues at other institutions. Over four live modules held June 23, 24, 30 and July 1, attendees will hear presentations from leading experts and engage in discussions on strategies to support institutional effectiveness. Registration for this workshop will open in March.
New Accreditation Liaison Officers (ALOs) are invited to participate in HLC’s complimentary online course “An Orientation to the Role at HLC.” Scheduled to run from June 14 to July 26, this course is self-paced, providing insight for those new to the ALO role on best practices for successfully navigating accreditation work with HLC and on campus. Registration for this course will open in April.
