HLC Website Updates
HLC has recently updated the following areas of its website to help visitors navigate more easily and to reflect changes to its policy and procedures:
COVID-19 Information
- Information regarding HLC’s response to the pandemic can now be found in the site’s main menu. The COVID-19 section includes the following:
- Resources for institutions and peer reviewers on accreditation reviews taking place during the pandemic
- Institutional requirements for notifying HLC regarding changes to educational offerings
- An overview of HLC’s virtual events
- Answers to frequently asked questions and additional resources for institutions
Note: HLC will continue to monitor the travel concerns during the pandemic. HLC will provide an update about fall accreditation activities by June 30, 2021.
HLC’s Glossary
HLC’s Glossary has been revised to conform with recent changes to federal regulations and HLC policies. The organization of the glossary has also been streamlined to make it easier for visitors to find terms related to accreditation.
Please note: Due to the 2021 Annual Conference being held virtually, HLC is not producing a Resource Guide this year. The updated information that would have been published in the Resource Guide is available on the HLC website.
Sunsetting the AQIP Pathway
All former AQIP Pathway institutions have now transitioned to the Standard or Open Pathways, and HLC has unpublished the AQIP Pathway resources on its website. References to AQIP also will be removed throughout HLC’s documents and online systems.
