ALO Orientation: An Introduction to the Role at HLC

Standard Pathway Webinar

Institutions on the Standard Pathway that are preparing for a comprehensive evaluation are invited to attend a webinar on addressing improvement in the Assurance Argument. ALOs, Assurance System Coordinators and Chief Academic Officers from eligible institutions will be invited via email. 

Demonstrating Quality: An Assurance Argument Virtual Workshop 

October 2023 | Virtual 

As part of the HLC Assurance Review, an institution prepares an Assurance Filing that demonstrates it is in compliance with HLC requirements. The filing is comprised of an Assurance Argument, Evidence File and other applicable materials. This half-day team workshop will help institutions craft their Assurance Argument, and includes one-on-one peer review feedback on a submitted excerpt of the draft. ALOs from eligible institutions will be invited via email. 

Program Assessment Virtual Workshop 

November 2023 | Virtual 

This virtual workshop provides an opportunity for individuals to further their understanding of practical and meaningful assessment of student learning in academic programs. Through lecture, discussion and structured activities, participants will gain the practical knowledge and skills to lead the development and implementation of a program assessment plan in their academic discipline. Sign up to be notified when registration opens.
