Happy Summer 2023.
The July Leaflet issue includes the results of a recent survey on the changing credential landscape. We sent the survey to our members to determine your own involvement in certificates, certifications, stackable credentials, external partnerships and interest for training. The results were very significant and affirmed our sense that the growth of various types of short-term credentials is spreading exponentially on our campuses. Each year the Credential Engine publishes a report on this emerging market, noting most recently there are more than one-million credentials offered in the United States. We are taking the survey results and other research to determine our next steps at HLC. We will keep you posted!
