Apply to Participate in AQIP

AQIP welcomes application from any Higher Learning Commission-accredited institution that has experienced at least two comprehensive PEAQ reviews. Any institution applying to participate by June 30, 2011 must have received its most recent official notification of reaccreditation letter from the Commission no earlier than Sept. 1, 2004.

Institutions considering applying must first participate in a phone conference with Steve Spangehl to avoid application mistakes and to be certain all application questions have been answered. To schedule a phone conference, contact Babatunde Alokolaro.

Institutions accredited by other U.S. regional accrediting agencies, and subunits (e.g., colleges or campuses) of Commission-accredited institutions, are not eligible for accreditation through the Academic Quality Improvement Program.

Review the Application and Instructions for Applying to AQIP. The document contains the actual application and instructions for completing it, understandings and expectations of institutions that participate, and the application affirmation. Submit the application by email to AQIP, and have the president or chancellor sign and fax back the Application Affirmation.
